Tax & Spend at your December main meeting

REIN’s General Meeting on December 10th will be all about taxes and money – your taxes and you making money, that is.

The “Fiscal Cliff” and Healthcare Reform have been all the talk lately.  So what does all this mean to you?  Will your taxes go up?  Are there loopholes you can exploit?  What about the new 3.8% investment surtax?  Certified Professional Accountant Henry Martin will help you navigate the taxing waters of our current economic situation.  Don’t be late, as this 30-minute session will be quick and hard-hitting with a handout to take home and study.  (You have just 3 weeks left to complete most of your 2012 tax plans.)

Investors know that wholesaling can be the best way to make money in a hurry.  After our tax chat, you will meet three full-time wholesalers.  Yes, this is what they do for a living to feed their families.  And you get to spend an hour with them Monday.

Scott & Sarah Nicodemus started investing by accident in 2007 after inheriting a property in Tulsa with an after-repaired value of $110,000.  They invested just $1,500 on clean out and sold it in 7 days, profiting $95,000 on their first flip! They were hooked.

Chad Harvey has been a real estate investor since 2000, starting with mobile home flips in South Georgia.  He’s done over 200 short sales from 2005 to 2011 in both Atlanta and Nashville.  Since 2011, Chad has been bulk buying single-family homes, notes, and lots from banks.

Please note that for THIS MONTH ONLY we will meet in a building next to our usual meeting place at Lipscomb University – the Ezell Building.  Follow our white signs with red letters to the Real Estate Investors Meeting.  Park where you normally do, as long as it is a marked space and not the grass or red or yellow-curbed areas.

Breakout Sessions begin at 6 pm.  Main Presentations start at 7:15 pm and end at 9 pm.

Don’t miss REIN’s final “Tax & Spend” General Meeting for 2012.   Invite a Friend to join you.
