Fall Homes Tour – September 17, 2011

This Homes Tour format will be new and exciting!

On this tour we will be seeing two REIN members’ projects and two MLS listed homes. After we review the homes, we will return to the REIN Education Center for lunch, provided by Corporate Sponsor Ron Greenfield with HomeLending Source. As an added bonus at this Homes Tour, Britnie Turner has agreed to review the two MLS listed properties on the tour. Take good notes on the tour and be ready to discuss your observations and your fellow members’ observations as well.

This will be the perfect opportunity to learn what is working in the current real estate market and what is not. You will have an opportunity to see the nuts and bolts (as well as the dollars and cents) while talking to the presenting investors about their projects.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, Sept. 17. We will meet at the REIN Education Center and carpool to
the various homes.

Cost:
$15 for REIN members,
$20 for guests if you reserve by Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.
On or after Sept. 16 the fee will be $20 for members and $25 for guests.

Greater Nashville Area a Good Bet for Residential RE – Forbes & others

Forbes.com had Local Market Monitor (a real estate research firm) come up with a list of the top markets to invest in.

They were looking for the Best Housing Markets For Investors in America.

Rated #4 on the list:

Metropolitan Statistical Area: Nashville - Davidson - Murfreesboro - Franklin, Tenn. (MSA)

The biggest thing going for Nashville and surrounding area is that in the recent past the population grew by 10%.

Nashville Business Journal did additional research and says:

Wisconsin-based research firm Fiserv told the Business Journal it expects prices in Nashville to bottom out in the second quarter of 2011, and return to peak in 2018.

The picture for Real Estate Investing in Middle Tennessee looks good & REIN will continue to help people who want to take part.
